/ The wind distortion when recording with a Studio Projects C1 Condenser Microphone?
So I recently received a Studio Projects C1 Condenser Microphone and every time I turn the input volume up past 8 (around 3 o'clock zone) I get this hissing windy distortion. If the input volume is not 8 is just a little too sweet. Anyone know of possible causes and solutions problem? Thank you in advance, Izzy
Make sure the "Pad -10 dB and -20 dB" on the micro switches are off. This will give you the power maximum microphone. Also make sure the "gain" or "plate" to adjust the chain that the microphone is plugged into your mixer is set correctly. It is a very important step to get a good sound of any microphone.
