Dell Studio 1557 vs Dell Inspiron 1564?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop, preferably a dell for my work in college. I my laptop to be fast and responsive easily run multiple programs. I have a dilemma to both of these laptops are announced at about the same price. I need to know which is better and faster. Fact studio: Processor: Intel Core i7 Ram: 2GB 320 GB hard drive inspiron specifications: Processor: Core i5 RAM: 4 GB HDD: 320 GB

The studio is better than the i7 i5. This will be the fastest. 2 GB of RAM is not the same as Great whether it should be cheap enough to upgrade to 3 or 4 GB of RAM. Are there any other details to the system? You really do not give lots of info.
